“Street of Thieves”

Wondering about the boldness and ability of pickpockets? Not to alarm anyone one, but rather to highlight graphically the potential danger in not paying close enough attention to your environment, here’s a link to a photo series of pickpockets at work: “Street of Thieves”.
While on tour, I can’t stress enough the need for all travelers to keep their eyes not only on the landmarks we’ll be enjoying but on the the people we’ll be surrounded by as we do. Here’s a link from the US Embassy in Paris on how to avoid pickpockets in the city but which can be applied easily to other paces we’ll be visiting.
