Information Meeting Summary

By Mr. Girard | November 21, 2007

It was nice to see a full room last night and meet some students and parents. We reviewed the itinerary for the European Panorama and discussed what included in the tour, the cost of the trip, and how to enroll. You all had lots of good questions. I’ll address a couple of things I’m following up on below.

Changing the departure date to accommodate as many high school and college travelers as we can. I’ll talk to my tour consultant later this afternoon, and move the date ahead a week (which will increase the cost of the tour $250 but that still keeps the tour very cost effective relative to the programs offered by other companies).

Photos of the hotel rooms that students will potentially be staying in. As I mentioned, the hotels were actually quite nice and they were safe. And several, out of town residences, offered fantastic, pastoral views of the surrounding areas. Students will be staying in a hotel each night of the tour; they’ll never sleep overnight on our bus.

College credit. I’ll clarify EF’s accreditation opportunities for students.

I think that may have been it for now, although there are many other details we’ll address as the tour preparation continues. I’ll post follow up information as soon as I can, but if you have any questions, comments, or concerns in the meantime, don’t hesitate to contact me.
